The goals and objectives of the BSFC are to facilitate high-quality CHHE research activities by providing cutting-edge bioinformatics and statistical expertise and support to CHHE researchers during all stages of study design, execution, and analysis. Specific interactions between the BSFC and CHHE researchers will involve the following: the development of optimal study design, data storage and management support during the collection of data, the implementation of state-of-the-art sophisticated statistical and bioinformatics analysis of the resulting data, the development of innovative analytical approaches to address non-standard design and analysis issues, and educational opportunities to support the training goals of the CHHE. These interactions will insure that the research studies in the CHHE are valid, efficient, and informative. Dr. Alison Motsinger-Reif is the Director for the BSFC.
