Drs. Sousan and Jo Anne Balanay were honored at the 2025 ECU Research and Scholarship Awards Recognition Ceremony for their copyright registration of the app prototype Temper, a heat stress assessment tool on wet bulb globe temperature. The app was featured on the Weather Channel and it is now licensed to the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). Temper is available for download: 📱 iPhone | Android.
