Faculty from University of Adelaide and CHHE Meet to Develop Collaborations Involving Fetal Origins of Adult Disease

Researchers at the Robinson Research Institute at University Adelaide, Australia have had a long standing interest in the fetal origins of adult disease, an important research topic shared by several members of CHHE.  On Sept 21, Professors Michael Davies and Ray Rodgers from the Robinson Research Institute met with CHHE members to provide an overview of the Institute’s basic and epidemiological research involving the early origins of adult disease.  This was followed by round table discussion with 12 CHHE researchers.  The Universities are providing seed funds to help establish collaborations and interactions between the two institutions.  Several areas of research synergy were identified and future interactions agreed upon.
